Lead Teacher Position available Dallas
First Presbyterian Church Developmental Day School is an outreach
ministry to preschool children and their families located in the heart
of downtown Dallas. The school strives to meet the needs of the
whole child with instruction, nurture, cognitive, social, and faith
development. This caring environment is provided for children
infancy through Pre-Kindergarten. The Day School prides itself on
having provided exemplary care as well as education for the past
twenty five years. Our curriculum, policies and procedures are
based on the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
guidelines for young children. You will have the opportunity
to work with low teacher/child ratios and group sizes in a state of
the art child care facility Job
Purpose: Provide a warm,
nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self concepts are
enhanced, individuality respected, and intellect stimulated through
planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Responsibilities: *Offer a program that
stimulates emotional, physical, intellectual, and social growth of children
by planning and implementing educational programs and activities for
the Pre Kindergarten classroom. * Provide safe
environment by maintaining an orderly, clean, and appealing classroom; eliminating
or removing known safety hazards; following and enforcing standards,
policies, and procedures. * Encourage students'
participation through interactions and by providing a variety of interactive
learning experiences. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in
Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field required.
Experience with NAEYC Accreditation is preferred. Must exceed state
licensing requirements for age, education, and experience. Benefits:
